Do you really know ..... ?

Have you ever considered your response to the question, "Who are you? Do you have an answer ready or is it a case where you think hard about it and then just give a response that sounds appropriate?

There are so many persons who go about from day to day displaying images of what they think the world would like to see. They continually get up each day and put on their masks and go out into society.
Why?
Is it so much easier to live a lie?

Wouldn't it be nice to just be able to be yourself, not having to lie to yourself each and every day? The "living a lie" syndrome has got to be cured. It's time for all of us to live free. To be honest to ourselves. To be able to look in the mirror each day and recognize the person who looks back.

    It's easier to live a lie because its easier to conform to what people expect of you than who you really are. Being yourself is great ad all, but people pride friends and other people's happiness while stifling their own..

This is the story of a tree. A tree rooted in-front of my office There's nothing extraordinary or outstanding about this tree except...for whatever reason, this tree was cut down to a stump. Maggot food. Dead as far as all were concerned. Months later, this cut down, maggot eaten, dried up tree has sprouted new branches with healthy green leaves. You know this tree. This tree is you.
